What’s Going On In The Shop

Kyle – Turned vase 95. Turned some coffee mugs for the store.  Filmed a video for TurboTax.

Sean – Procrastinated on making the headboard.  Worked on the turning saw side project by turning the handle, knob (both Kamani), and the toggle (Tiger Maple).  Cut some dovetails and cleaned up a cheap smoothing plane.

Brian – Helped a friend with garage storage.  Resawed the drawer bottoms for the hall table which led to resaw photo ops.

Main Topic – Breadboard ends.  Revisiting Marshall’s table build and how he could have improved the construction of the breadboard ends.

Guest Questions

Jonathan Ficke – What finish to use on knife handles?  Check out his blog at warriorwoodwork.blogspot.com and on Twitter.

Tate Brown – Hey, guys.  I’m loving the show, but wanted to see if you’ve thought about making it available to the Stitcher website and app.  It allows streaming of podcasts and is easier to manage than the podcasts app on the iPhone.  I’ll keep listening either way, but I wanted to ask.  Keep up the good work!
