FluxCubby – Real Talk About Shop – 5 Stars – The best thing about this podcast is listening to the pros talk about the issues, problems, and frustrations the rest of us have in our shops every day.  It’s very encouraging to hear Brian, Kyle, and Sean talk about underestimating time requirements, mis-sizing pieces, or having close calls with safety–not that we want these things to happen, but it’s nice to know I’m not the only one who can’t get as much done in one day as I often think I can.  Thanks for taking time to talk through your every day experiences.  They have tremendous value to me and others who are learning the craft.

  1. Real disappointed (and pretty pissed honestly) in Brian’s classless, inaccurate and all around shitty usage of the word “retarded” in this episode. 40:44 Brian says “You’re retarded.” to Sean to describe Sean’s lack of foresight in taking on an intricate and demanding project. It’s a dated and atrocious term and you’re a real asshole for your ignorant schoolboy remark. I listen to this podcast mainly for Kyle and Sean, and I can confidently say that Brian lost a fan today. It may not mean much to him, but you can be damn sure that if anyone brings him up when I’m around I’m definitely going to make it clear that Brian McCauley is an insensitive jackass.

Keep up the good work Sean and Kyle, you two guys are amazing.
